Thanks for looking at homes in Springwells Park.  You are facing a major decision that will have a long term impact on your life.  So it’s important to choose a home and a community that suits you and your family’s needs and desires.  As such we’d like to tell you a little about our community.

Springwells Park is a unique community envisioned by Edsel Ford (Henry’s son) and designed by Ralph Taylor, a Ford Engineer who built and occupied the first house at 5 Brookline Lane in 1940.

Before you decide to buy a house in any neighborhood take a walk around.  Here in Springwells Park you’ll note that all cul-de-sacs have a walkway leading to a ‘mini-park’ and/or to adjacent streets.  This makes Springwells Park the perfect place for a scenic walk or jog.  Along the way you’ll enjoy the numerous mature trees and beautiful flowers planted by residents who take extra pride in their landscaping.  You’ll also be greeted by friendly residents who still say hello to strangers.

Springwells Park’s eight large ‘mini-parks’ are for the exclusive use of our residents.  These common areas provide natural beauty as well as wonderful safe locations for children to run and play.  Our common areas are owned by Springwells Park Association and maintained by adjoining residents.  In addition Bennington Park, a Dearborn City Park, provides acres of open space and a modern playground and basketball court.

Springwells Park Association provides a neighborhood address book, a quarterly news letter and hosts this website to keep neighbors informed of the many clubs and events available to our residents.

All Springwells Park Properties carry deed restrictions to protect your investment and assure the classic colonial charm of our neighborhood will endure for years to come.   A simple approval process is required prior to making exterior updates to homes or significant landscaping changes.

Thanks for taking the time to visit our website.  And if you are interested in meeting us in person, take a drive over to Dearborn.  Our main entrance is on the north side of Rotunda Drive between Southfield (Rt 39) and Greenfield Roads  -right next to the TPC golf course.

On behalf of the Executive Board of the Springwells Park Association, allow me to wish you luck in your search for a new home and community.
